Vignettes

Shortly after I began residency, I started writing stories depicting unusual or unique moments that caught my attention. I call them ‘Vignettes’ because they’re really little snapshots of my time in training.

These stories are different from my blog, where I ruminate without much thought or editing (buyer beware!). By contrast, the Vignettes are written as short-stories, and occasionally I take some liberties with hyperbole here and there for humorous or dramatic effect. One day, I hope to collect them and publish them in a book. You can read them in chronological order – latest to earliest – and put yourself in my shoes (again…watch yourself!) as I wend my way through these unusual and often trying times.
